Freestanding teak desk designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in 1959 and produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark, during the 1960s.
The design combines warm teak with a slender dark metal frame, creating the light and architectural expression characteristic of Hvidt & Mølgaard’s work.
Four drawers with traditional dovetail joinery are complemented by an integrated pull-out tray with green felt. The distinctive metal frame is finished with small teak feet.
Beautifully preserved in its original state, with a rich patina developed through decades of use — an integral part of the desk’s history and character.
