Bauhaus bedside tables – chrome & teak, 1950s
Large pair of wall-mounted bedside tables produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s.
Executed in teak with chromed tubular steel frames. The construction reflects a Bauhaus-influenced functionalist approach.
The tables combine strict steel geometry with softly rounded, organic forms in the wood.
Often associated with Kovona production, though without confirmed designer attribution.
Suitable as wall-mounted nightstands or compact storage in bedrooms or small interiors.
Original vintage condition with patina consistent with age and use.
