Kai Kristiansen – rosewood planter
Vintage Danish planter executed in rosewood and attributed to Kai Kristiansen.
Rectangular planter box raised on a sculptural base frame typical of Danish modern furniture from the 1960s.
Originally designed as a planter, the piece also works well as storage for vinyl records, books or interior objects.
The elevated frame gives the piece a light architectural expression while the box form provides practical storage.
Suitable for plants, vinyl records or for creating a small neuroaesthetic arrangement where objects, plants and materials interact visually.
The rosewood veneer displays expressive grain patterns and a warm tone developed over time.
