Poul M. Volther – teak drawers
Danish teak chest of drawers attributed to Poul M. Volther.
Produced in Denmark during the 1960s and reflecting the restrained design language associated with Danish mid-century cabinetmaking.
The piece features three drawers with sculpted wooden handles and stands on lightly tapered legs which give the cabinet a light architectural presence.
Originally designed as a small chest of drawers, the piece also works well as a nightstand beside the bed or as compact storage in an entryway or hallway.
